We teach all the skills and fundamentals, then step in at opportune times during classes to take advantage of great teaching moments, which accelerates their development and growth potential. This helps them become a more confident and positive leader in a changing world.
Potential students undergo an interview to become a student at The Academy. The interview consists of basic drills, which help determine skill level, whether the program is a good fit for their family, and if their family is a good fit for EMA. NOTE: Interview deposit will be credited to account after 1-year commitment to student's leadership journey.
* Interviews include a 60-minute workout, 15-minute discussion, and take place at multiple times and locations in San Francisco.
If your child continues with The Academy after the interview, you will be asked to purchase at least several individuals or a bundle of Exclusive Privates or Semi-Privates (2-4 siblings or friends) until we feel that your child is ready to go to the group classes that are much more high energy and fast-paced.
SIGN UP FOR THE INTERVIEWExclusive Privates: students train with a 1:1 player-to-coach ratio. This allows for specialized focus and instruction.
Semi-Privates: 2-4 siblings or friends (close in skill levels) go through the basic instruction period together.

Awesome. We’re about something bigger than basketball. And we want you to be a part of it.
Exclusive Private training has been highly effective for my daughters (Emily and Kitt). No time is wasted. The entire workout session is organized from start to finish so that your time on the court is focused on you and achieving your specific results.
